Amid the relentless rhythm of the New York City commute, I strive to capture what escapes most eyes—fleeting moments that dissolve almost as soon as they arise. This series is not about literal documentation, but about immersing the viewer in atmosphere and feeling. It is a meditation on anonymity and transient encounters, revealing the unseen stories carried through the city’s tunnels: ghostlike presences that embody both solitude and subtle connection within the underground flow of human life.
Each silhouette possesses its own distinct character, hinting at the inner world behind every hurried figure. In these ephemeral scenes, anonymity becomes its own form of intimacy—each shadow an imprint of a journey, a passageway through time beneath the city’s surface.
